The Paw Strokes commission process is simple, and it’s built around making it easy for pet owners who aren’t art collectors:
- Choose your canvas size — bespoke sizes available for any space or preference
- Provide a favorite photograph of your pet — local photo sessions also offered for LA-area clients
- Place your order — confirmation of size, price, and timeline within 24 hours
- Receive your hand-painted portrait — oil on canvas, packaged with care
Simon works primarily in oil on canvas, and the gallery on the site shows the range — dogs and cats of every breed, every size, every personality. The portraits in the gallery (Bagel, Lyra, Schnapps, Isaac, Ambar, Charlie, and many others) all show the same attention to the small details that make a pet that pet: the eyes, the ears, the way they sit.
